CIPS EMBA Benefit Information Session

CIPS Members are eligible to receive a significant scholarship for the University of Fredericton’s (Sandermoen School of Business) Executive MBA program.  This session will allow you to learn more and speak with:

Jeff Knechtel and Adam Cole, both CIPS alumni of this program, and Dr. David Large, Professor of Marketing

If you have ever considered pursuing an MBA, this is a must-attend event.

Additionally Jerry Gaertner, CIPS Ontario President will present:

The Future of Professions: How Technology Will Affect the Practice of Law, Accounting and Medicine.

Knowledge intensive and knowledge-based professions face an unprecedented challenge brought on by the cloud, social media, expert systems and big data analytics. What will happen to exclusive domains of practice when outsourcing is the norm? How will hierarchical service firms deal with the automation of paper flow and processes? What changes will be needed to professional training programmes as client expectations change and tools become smarter? Will we even recognize major professions in a decade or two?

There are no answers today, only thoughtful consideration. An interesting, thought provoking presentation about what may come to be.

A light buffet will be provided with admission.

Note: Capacity is limited to 30 and is on a first come first serve basis.
